A gentle class great for people new to yoga. Props and modifications make yoga available for every body. We will work on body awareness, alignment, and balancing the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
Vinyasa, a practice focused on pranayama (breath) and asana (posture) to calm the mind, the nervous system, and revitalize the soul. This class caters to individuals that have experience with the yoga practice and are looking to deepen their practice with various asanas.
Hatha is a Sanskrit word that means “force” and translates very loosely to “movement or meaning.”. Hatha yoga is used for physical and mental transformation because it demands that you pay constant attention to the breath, which helps you be present in each posture.
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy
In a transformational sequence of one-to-one or group classes, a practitioner assisted with observation and light adjustments with permission to yoga postures. The experience is client-centered, open-ended, and non-directive approach. Information is gained on the mat and brought into the client's daily life - Work, play, family, and relationships. A series of 8-weeks is recommended for lasting change.
